About Ghaima
A small school that knows every child by name
In Al Barsha 1 since 2019: a small primary school that knows every child by name and turns their big questions into projects they build with their own hands.

We opened Ghaima in 2019 on a quiet street behind Mall of the Emirates with a simple idea: that children should learn science and technology the way scientists do, by asking, trying and getting things wrong, in a small school where every teacher knows every child.
Today Ghaima welcomes about 150 pupils from KG1 to Grade 6, in classes of no more than 18, with a maker space, a library and a school garden the children plant themselves. We learn in Arabic and English every day.
How we work
- Every unit starts with a question and ends with a project the children present.
- The maker space is part of every class’s school week, not an extra.
- A weekly photo report for parents, and a meeting with the teacher every term.
- Fees published in writing before you register, with no hidden fees.
Your first visit
Book a morning tour to see the school day as it is, and meet the teacher of the stage you are interested in. If you are outside Dubai, a video meeting with our admissions team is available in Arabic or English.

What we believe
Four principles
you can see in every lesson.
-
Curiosity first
We start every unit with a question the children ask themselves, not a ready-made answer to memorise and forget.
-
Small classes
18 children at most, and a teacher who knows every child by name and by the way they learn.
-
Two languages every day
Arabic and English in lessons and projects, and Arabic as an identity before it is a subject.
-
We learn with our hands
Models, experiments and a garden, because what children make with their hands stays with them.
The team
Teachers from Saudi Arabia and the world,
one way of teaching.
Teachers from the Emirates, the Arab world, India, the Philippines and Europe, sharing one approach: a question before the answer, an experiment before memorising, and close contact with parents.
