About Ghaima
In Al Barsha 1 since 2019, we build a calm, well-organised school day around children’s big questions: a science project in every unit, daily reading in two languages, and teachers who know every pupil by name.

What our children learn
Six areas meet in every unit’s project, so children see how maths works inside an experiment and how language tells what they discovered.

An experiment every week: we ask, predict and try, then write down what we saw in our own words.
From instruction cards in kindergarten to Scratch, then Python in Grade 6.
We design, build and test models from cardboard, wood and small motors.
Numbers we touch and measure, then problems from everyday life in Saudi Arabia.
Daily reading in two languages, with writing and a class presentation at the end of every project.
Drawing and music, and a school garden the children plant and watch grow.
Common questions
Didn’t find your question? Call or write to us and we will answer during office hours.
We welcome parents Sunday to Thursday by appointment. A tour with the admissions team takes about 45 minutes, and you can meet the stage teacher on the same visit.
18 children at most in every class, and in kindergarten a teacher and an assistant stay with them all day.
In Arabic and English every day: maths and science in English with support in Arabic, and Arabic, Islamic education and UAE social studies in Arabic.
There is no test for kindergarten: we meet your child in a short play session. From Grade 1 we run a friendly reading and maths assessment to know where to start.
Yearly fees are AED 38,000 for kindergarten, 44,000 for Grades 1–3 and 48,000 for Grades 4–6, paid in three instalments at the start of each term, with 10% off for a second brother or sister.
School starts at 07:30 for every grade and ends at 13:30 for kindergarten, 14:30 for Grades 1–3 and 14:45 for Grades 4–6. Clubs run after school, Monday to Thursday, until 16:15.
Yes, with a licensed transport company covering Al Barsha, Emirates Hills, Jumeirah and Saudi Arabia Sports City, for a separate fee. There is also a safe drop-off zone for parents who drive their children in.
A photo report every week, a meeting with the teacher every term and daily messages in the school app. You can also book an extra meeting with any teacher on this website.
